Reserving your rentals
How long before my event should I reserve my rentals?
We rent our stock on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is best to reserve your rentals as soon as possible.
How long can I keep my rentals?
The standard rental time for weddings is two full business days. This gives you time to decorate, rehearse, etc. Typically we set up your rentals the day before your event and pick them up the day after. For other events such as church revivals, fundraisers, parties, etc., we rent on a case-by-case basis.
When will my deposit and payment be due?
We require a reservation fee of 25% of the total price at the time of booking, this fee is non-refundable. Final payments are due after the set-up is complete.
When will my rentals be delivered?
Typically your rentals will be delivered and set up the day before your event and will pick up the day after. If you need your rentals prior to the day before, please let us know upon booking.
I received my quote, now what?
At this point, please give us a call or email to confirm your rental. At this time the 25% deposit will be due to secure your reservation.
Can I add additional items to my rental list after reserving?
Yes, simply give us a call and let us know what you need.
Tent Rental Info
How will the tent be secured?
All of our pole tents are secured by metal stakes anchored in the ground and attached with ropes. Frame tents can be secured via water barrels or ground stakes depending on whether they are to be positioned on concrete/asphalt, or a grassy/dirt area.
***PLEASE NOTE*** Events and Tents LLC is not responsible for damaged water or electrical lines. Be aware of the location of your water and electrical lines prior to set up and have them marked if they are in or near the tent location.
Should I rent side curtains too?
Side curtains are a great addition to any tent, especially in the winter months. They offer an enclosed space and a buffer for the wind. However, it is not best practice to use side curtains during the summer as they do not allow sufficient airflow.
How can I know what size tent I should rent?
The standard measurement for tent size is 10 square feet per person. However, tent size and type highly depend on the needs of specific events, so please give us a call to discuss this further.
Can I reserve a tent and not use it?
Yes. Your deposit of 25% of the total price of your rentals serves as a non-refundable reservation fee.
Table and Chair Rentals
I’ve invited X amount of people, how many chairs should I rent?
On average, about 75% of the people you invite will attend, and even fewer will RSVP. It is best practice to rent enough chairs to seat the 75%.
What size tables do you have?
We offer 5’ round folding tables, 6’ round folding tables, 7’ banquet tables, and 8’ banquet tables.
How many tables should I rent for X amount of people?
Industry-standard is 6 to 7 chairs per 5’ round table. This gives your guests some legroom.
Can you advise me on table and chair placement in my space?
Yes, we know you probably don’t set these things up every day, so we are more than happy to help.
